Gareth has over 20 years of experience in real estate investing, finance and development and has extensive experience in transactions, development financing and asset management across all sectors. Gareth has executed multiple real estate investments on investors’ behalf and advised institutional investors, family offices, funds and local authorities on major investment and development projects. 

Prior roles include Head of Investment at IWS, and F3group, where he was responsible for Investment Strategy, transacting and managing development schemes across the UK. Senior Advisor to an overseas family office managing a mixed-used development portfolio valued in excess of £500m.

Alex has over 20 years of experience in Real Estate investment and Asset Management. 

Alex qualified as an FCA approved person, investment adviser, and a licensed member of the CISI with a Level 3 Certificate in Investments.  He holds an MBA in finance and BS in hotel administration, both from Cornell University.

Alex specializes in providing joint venture equity and mezzanine finance across UK and Europe.  Alex successfully co-invested €311 million and £229 million in development equity, JV rescue finance across 80 residential, commercial, healthcare and hospitality assets.

 He sponsored the acquisition of €542 million and £135 million worth of debentures, unsecured debts, loan notes, minority equity stakes to achieve annual rent reductions across 51 full service hotels.  He arranged the release of $444 million of JV equity across five residential and hotel assets in the MENA region.

 Alex helped stabilise €366.4 million worth of revenue streams to achieve €1.2 billion of exit value across18 hotel and resort assets.  He realised €2.1 billion of retail sales from 13,353 residential units in Italy, Germany.

 Alex co-invested equity in the €2.9 billion JV between Telecom Italia, Beni Stabili Spa and Lehman Brothers Europe to acquire 581 commercial assets.  He also co-invested £753 million worth of mezzanine loans and public-to-private equity across 107 commercial and hospitality assets.  

Alex has held senior management roles at Venture Investments and Yield Management LLP, Hilton Worldwide, Morgan Stanley International Inc, Lehman Brothers International Inc, Kingdom Hotel Investments, and MeriStar Hotels and Resort Inc.

 

Clive Lawson Smith

Clive qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the London office of KPMG and then joined JP Morgan Chase. Clive pursued a banking career specialising in complex debt structuring deals using tax-based forward funding and currency hedges.
This, in turn, led to advisory roles for management teams looking to raise and structure acquisitions and buy-outs from the Private Equity market. Clive then acted as investment adviser to the Family Office of Lord Ashcroft, joining the boards on the conclusion of successful investments.
Since 2010 Clive has worked in the property development area, being FD and Commercial Director of Development Management Companies.

Clive is also Berkshire  Priory Group Chairman for St John’s Ambulance.

Vijay Goel

Vijay Goel has been a Senior partner for the London office of Singhania & Co for more than 15 years. He is an expert in real estate transactions and has successfully executed major real estate transactions in India. Vijay is experienced in advising on private equity funds for investment in India and has worked with American and Indian companies for their listing on AIM, London.

Vijay is an Ambassador for Barnardo’s, UK’s largest children’s charity.

Vijay is a former Chairman of London Chamber of Commerce (LCCI)’s Asian Business Association (ABA) and Founder of Indo-EU Business Forum
